The "domaine des trois châteaux" in Coye-la-Forêt is still as it was when the châteaux were built at the very beginning of the 20th century.
Highly representative of the taste and splendour of the great industrialists and bankers of the period, these châteaux, like several others in the surrounding area, are linked to the history of the industrial revolution of the 19th century and the world of the Belle Époque.
This will be the subject of the first part of this conference with Lucienne Jean, for ALMA. And the "domaine des trois châteaux" is unique in that it is part of the history of today's society. For La Sylve, Claude Lebret, former director of the site, will talk about the different ways in which this place has cared for children for nearly 80 years, with testimonials from former residents and employees.
